Polymarket Institutional Research

As many of you know, something that is exciting to me is the evolution of institutional research in prediction markets. The relaunch of Cheap Convexity was done because I think we are at a really interesting time for institutional adoption of prediction markets. A big part of institutional adoption is the growing depth of liquidity in these markets, that is the big solve right now; but another element of this is having a research ecosystem that is at a level that institutions are used to.
Most asset classes earned their research layer over long periods of time. Equity research, macro, credit and commodities, all took many years to see their research industries get to such a sophisticated level. Research not only presents information to risk takers, but it creates frameworks that risk takers can anchor to. Within this industry, the market has evolved from just ideas or information, to frameworks around conditional probability, Bayesian updating and scenario analysis.
I think this institutional research lane can happen quickly in prediction markets, because so much of this infrastructure exists already and is portable to trading on places like Polymarket.
I think the go to place for this sort of institutional research on prediction markets will be on Polymarket Institutional Research. If you are an institution that is already in the space or you are a trader looking to get more involved, I recommend signing up below to get added to their distribution list. Cheap Convexity will be writing for Polymarket Institutional Research and my prediction market trade ideas will be posted there. My first post is in the link below.
