Something I am really grateful for is having such an incredible network of institutional clients, especially so early on in my research endeavor. Within my JST Advisors client base, one of the questions I get the most is, “what are your other clients thinking right now?”
Over the summer I attempted to answer that via a “JSTA Community Note.” The idea was to do a note that aggregates what my macro community is thinking.
It turned out to be a great success and something that I will continue doing for my JST Advisors clients.
However, I have been thinking about other really exciting ways to leverage the collective knowledge of this community, but that is also in a way that is accessible for my Cheap Convexity subscribers.
So the idea is simple, once a month I will be having a recorded conversation with either a client, someone from my macro network and of course fintwit. The aim is for the conversation to last between 20-30 minutes. I think this is a good length as it allows for enough substantive conversation but is also convenient enough to fit in with everyones busy schedules. The idea is for the conversations to be thought provoking, actionable but also digestible and a quick listen. I think this sort of thing could be especially valuable in these most interesting/challenging macro markets.
So with that, I am really excited announce the JSTA Community Podcast. The podcast will only be available to JSTA clients and paid subscribers to Cheap Convexity. The first episode will be published next week in advance of the very important December FOMC.
Now paid subscribers will not only get access to my Cheap Convexity posts, which are typically published twice a week, but will also get access to this monthly podcast. I am really looking forward to this new part of Cheap Convexity and I hope you join me.
All the best,
Jon Turek
